About
Troy McFarland has been doing motion capture for over ten years. He first headed up the Dynamix and Sierra On-Line motion capture departments, and then later owned his own company, Elemental Motion where he offered motion capture services in the Pacific Northwest. During this time, he was a key component in the installation of Sony's motion capture system used on Monster House, and optimized the Seattle Veterans Hospital's gait analysis lab. Troy later became a member of Electronic Arts' Motion Capture team, where he gained key skills to deal with the largest constant throughput of mocap data in the game and movie industry.
Troy now works at Zombie Studios as their main motion capture guy. To date, Troy has worked on over fifteen game titles as an artist and animator.
