Hey all,
After the better part of this year working on another project I've turned some of my very limited attention back to archiving some of my game collection. In a few rare cases I am making good quality PDF scans of manuals and other materials that I can't find at least a workable copy of.
Thus far I've only done two games: Below the Root by Windham Classics and Sentinel Worlds 1 by EGA. In both cases I could find nothing at replacementdocs to serve as electronic copies and I had the originals. I toyed with the idea of putting them up on SierraVault but don't want to dilute the Sierra central focus of the site. At this point I'm tending toward putting them up on my FTP and providing limited links in places like, well, here. Assuming anyone is interested.
Let me know.
Andy
Any interest in non-Sierra scans, SierraVault style?

Though my first love is the Sierra games, I do appreciate games from the other developers of the same era. I, too, have given some thought about archiving things from some of my non-Sierra games too. I would be interested in seeing what you come up with.

Below The Root - Windham Classics (1984)

Sentinel Worlds 1: Future Magic - EGA (1988)

Several of these have been extensively written on, but it's the nine year old writing of my own hand. I tended to consume games in my youth and if it wasn't Sierra I didn't worry about keeping things in mint condition.
What am I saying? I didn't worry about keeping anything in mint condition - I just tended not to write the brain droppings in the Sierra manuals, on the maps, in the margins, etc, etc.
