Awesomeness.

Post by Tawmis » Tue Aug 11, 2009 2:44 pm

So I run a site called PirateBooty.net where I sell pirate shirts that have... usually... double meanings to them. Anyway, with so much pirate merchandise out there these days, my site has fallen under the tides, and I honestly don't push it as hard as I used to... so now it's pretty much just adrift.

However, there's a woman named Monica, who loved the shirts. And she sent me pictures when she went to a Pirate Festival the first time last year and just sent me new pictures.

This isn't to promote the store, but just beaming with pride to see my shirt that I made being shown off.

Monica and her booty!

Oh yes! Well aware of Talk Like A Pirate Day (Sept 19th) - even have a count down on my site for it. :)

Unfortunately I won't be able to have as much fun as I normally would have - since I am going to be stuck at a 10 year old's birthday party!

Really? I would think that's the best place to be a pirate! Ideas like "Talk like a Pirate Day" are highly contagious around kids. You could send them all home to bug their parents about "poop decks" and "wenches" and you could laugh yourself to sleep knowing you've made a difference in the world and given birth to a whole new generation of buccaneers.

 OMG. I couldn't stop laughing at this visual...

Sadly, Katie (whose birthday it is) is Autistic, so the humor would be lost on her. :(

But that's friggin' awesome up there... that had me laughing seriously for about three minutes... my mind is entirely too visual sometimes.

I've been looking into a game called Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball recently. I don't know how good it is, but I did play an early copy at SXSW in Austin a year ago or so.
