KQ7 not starting

Hey,

I tried Collector's DOSBox patch for the '06 collection and all of the other games work but 7. I noticed when it was installing that there was a ''checksum'' error for KQ7 and when I try to play it it just goes back to desktop with the words: 'sierra -0 .\resourse.cfg illegal command: Sierra''

from the sound of it, the updater didn't find the original game files to update. Perhaps you did not install the patch in the same folder as the collection was installed. Look in the game's folder and make sure that the game updated.
