GK3 cursor problem

I am having trouble with GK3 on CD3, with the cursor box that appears when something is clicked, closing after a couple of seconds. This makes selecting a choice difficult, and altering settings or saving impossible. Using a different CD did help, but the problem now persists, after a few in game hours. Swapping now makes no difference. Any help?

I have not heard of this problem, before. Take a look at the Gabriel Knight 3 Help page. If you still have problems, ask back here with some more information (what OS, what you have tried, such as compatibility mode, etc.).

Yep, the page says nothing about it.

Using a laptop with Windows XP, and have not tried compatibility mode; haven't had trouble until now, so I'm a bit baffled.

Try updating your graphics adapter driver.
