King's Quest 4 freezes whenever I try to restore saved game

Everytime I try to restore a game I saved on KQ4, the game freezes, like it was just about to take me to my restored game file but just stopped entirely in the process. I hope I uploaded this diagnostic tool thing properly. As you can tell I'm still clueless when it comes to figuring this stuff out, which is why I'm here.

That is the diagnostic tool. Run it from the start menu or from the game's folder. It will create a log file. That is what you need to attach here.
