KQ 7 Music

Though it took me a little bit into the game to notice, there appears to be no music playing. All voices and sound effects appear to be there, but none of the area music. I noticed it first in the cave with the giant scorpion, there's no "danger" music just the scorpion screeching and walking.

The game's configured correctly and you have the proper driver. Can you hear MIDI files played in Media Player?

Yep, .mid files play in Winamp, Quicktime, and Windows Media Player.

Nothing is missing. Do you hear MIDI music in other games in DOSBox?

[Eilonwy]

Yep, played KQ5 last night and everything was fine. Willy Beamish, Eagle Eye Mysteries, and Sam & Max Hit the Road also play just fine.

Try a clean reinstall

Reinstall seems to have worked, music is all there now. Thanks for the help
