a huge problem

In Space No One Can Hear You Clean, er, Scream. But if you post in this forum about Space Quest - someone's sure to hear you. I think. Try it, anyway!

a huge problem

Post by abyss » Tue Nov 25, 2008 4:32 pm

I went to use the space quest DOSBox patch and really right before I went to use it I remembered that I had to have it as c:/program files/DOSBox and I don't really want DOSBox to be in that folder so I uninstalled the patch. I chose to uninstall space quest so I could reinstall it and get back normal settings but the uninstaller won't work now. So now I am stuck with not being able to use it from the start menu and have to open it manually with DOSBox. How do I get back the original settings with DOSBox 0.63.

If you read the whole thing the uninstaller no longer works so I can't uninstall it. I was so far on the space quest 6 too. I had only a little left to do on space quest 4. I have never completed a sierra game.

I think what Collector is saying is don't worry about UNINSTALLING the game.

Just run the INSTALL again and pick the location you want it in.

They should be alright. If you are worried, just move the save games.
