Okie, On the MUNT driver download page, they just released an updated version of DOSBox.exe with mt32 emu.

I have MUNT setup properly. I can run the mt-32 emulator fine through scummvm. I run it fine through DOSBox by choosing mt-32 synth emulator in the Control Panel. So I'm wondering what the DOSBox with mt32 emu is supposed to do? What makes it different than just using regular DOSBox with the mt32 synth emulator configuration?

Re: Question about DOSBox w/MT-32 support
I haven't used it, but I'm just guessing that maybe it doesn't require you to change to mt32 midi playback through a control panel. I use the ykhwong build which has had mt32 built in for a while, and it works fine as long as the proper roms are in the folder. You don't need to install MUNT separately or change MIDI playback to MT32 Synth Emulator.
Re: Question about DOSBox w/MT-32 support
Audio wise no real difference. Perhaps the convenience is the only real reason to use it, but if you do not have the driver installed, you will not be able to use it with anything else.
