Steam & GOG gifts/trades/coupons

I was just thinking: "You know, we can gift or trade games on Steam and GOG, so why not have a dedicated thread for that?" I'd have normally put it in the sales thread, but items might get lost in there, especially considering how large that thread has become over time.

Anyway... the idea of this thread is that if you have games you'd like to gift or trade to someone else on SHP, post about it here. NO ONE is obligated to do ANYTHING, so don't feel bad by not participating. This isn't a holiday-only thing, either. You can gift or trade games on both Steam and GOG year-around, so don't let the date dictate when (and if) you want to play.

I've also added "coupon" to the subject heading, but Steam is giving users coupons for different percentages off different games. No, I don't know how long they'll be doing this.

In my inventory, I have two coupons: One that gives a 25% discount on any Valve game and another that gives 50% off an indie game called Bit.Trip.Runner.

Seeing as how I have all the Valve games I want and I have no interest in BTR, I'm more than willing to give these two coupons to anyone here.

I'm giving these coupons away on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis. I don't know if either coupon stacks (in other words, if you could use two Valve coupons to get 50% off instead of 25%) and you can't use the coupons until the holiday sales are over. Both coupons are valid from January 2nd 2012 to March 1st 2012.

In addition to the above two coupons, I am giving away a copy of Portal and Defense Grid: The Awakening. If anyone here has any games they'd like to trade me, by all means, let's do that.

If you haven't played Portal yet, I'd strongly encourage you to do so. Don't let the fact it uses an FPS engine (Valve's Source engine) fool you -- it's not an FPS so much as a First-Person Adventure/Puzzle game. I don't mean Adventure/Puzzle in the same sense as Myst or any of those awful games; no, it just relies on using your brain more than the ability to move and dodge quickly, although the latter skills are beneficial as well. Portal's greatest selling strength is the game's strange sense of dark humor, particularly that of the antagonist, GLADOS.

The other game, Defense Grid: The Awakening, is a Tower Defense game, but a very good one. I own it, in addition to the DLC that's sold separately. Truth be told, I initially bought this copy of the game as a gift for my brother-in-law, but seeing as how he never redeemed it and doesn't have (or at least use) a Steam account anymore, it's just sitting there going to waste.

Like the coupons in my previous post, this is a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE sort of deal.

I have a 50% off any Valve title coupon which I'll probably never use. That's all for now. I don't own any of the games on today's objectives list.
