DOSBox help?

Post by resin » Tue Oct 04, 2011 8:58 am

Is there a target command that runs a game as big as possible while maintaining its original aspect ratio? Like the ' aspect= true ' and ' fullscreen=true ' that can be added to a conf? But as a command I can type in the shortcut's "target" field (like -exit or -noconsole) ?? If there's no command for that, can you tell me how I would accomplish this in a custom config file? Thank you

Although someone here may be able to help you, you might get a faster answer at Vogons...

While many of the options in the conf file can be set from the command line in DOSBox, it is far easier to set it in the dosbox.conf file. The included README has all of the info on this. You can also read the dosbox.conf itself for additional info. To use a different conf for a specific game, use the -conf switch, i.e.

Code: Select all

-conf c:\Sierra\KQ1\dosbox.conf
if your custom conf is in the KQ1 folder.
