Different versions of Sierra Games

I didn't know exactly where to post this topic so move it if this is the wrong place.

OK the fact that KQ7 had certain scrapped deaths in earlier versions of the game got me thinking: Are there any other Sierra games with 2.x versions that scrapped certain stuff? For example my copy of Torin's Passage is ver. 1.0 but i would like to know if there's a later version that has differences/major bugfixes.

There are also apparently various versions of KQ2 from what i've heard: 2.2,2.1 etc.

Anyone knows the differences/bugfixes between versions of any Sierra game besides KQ7?

There are different versions of the KQ4SCI that have different backgrounds.

Some months earlier I had also posed a similar question the replies I received consented that there were no major changes between versions, and most of them had to do with bug fixes which you might never had seen anyway.

There are a few exceptions of major changes, such as the old SQ I game which had to change the name "Droids-R-Us" at some point. Also, there are two versions of KQ4 SCI with quite different graphics. I have also heard that a version of LSL2 skips the copy protection if you enter Al Lowe's birthdate, but others don't.

There are also some changes due to legal reasons. Droids R Us in Space Quest was changed to Droids B Us because of Toys R Us and ZZ Top was removed from SQ, as well.
