Sierra Poll: Final Showdown (All Era Champions)

Here we go. The final showdown. GK1 was outgunned at the last minute by QFG4 so it doesn't make the showdown list! Amazing! I'm quite saddened that none of the Space Quests made the list, though.

I'm going to have to think about my answer for this one...

I went for, in that list, for Leisure Suit Larry In The Land of the Lounge Lizards sentimental reasons.

I predictably went for KQ6 for the obvious reasons. As far as my favorite games go, there's only a small handful of non-Sierra games that would stand a chance against it for me.

My runner-ups would be QFG4, KQ4, and GK2 in that order.

So the end result - this poll is going to end up exactly my mish-mash one did - and this one even included other games (- since I only did the originals: LSL, PQ, KQ and SQ - and this one was done by era and far more complex!) - and still - the very same result...

KQ6 will win it.

I chose CoC, although I know I will remain a minority. Not only for sentimental reasons, but I also think that CoC is one of the most detailed, deep, researched, well done and self-contained games ever. I believe that other games are equal or better, but CoC came earlier.

KQ6 deserves to win, but I chose QFG4. I could live with Beast Within winning. I have a soft spot for Conquests of Camelot as well. I would've liked more games like that, but the Longbow one didn't do it for me.

I'd really love to see something other than KQ6 or Gabriel Knight win for once. They're not THAT good. I'll settle for GK winning, though, if it means KQ6 losing.
