QfG5.cfg file empty; game won't run.

Not finding any Glory in this whole Quest for Glory bit? Need a hint? Or just want to discuss Quest for Glory - this is the place to do it!

QfG5.cfg file empty; game won't run.

I used the installer from this site, but get a memory exception when I try to run the game, and the config file is blank except for one .

That is what should be in the CFG. This make the game look to its own folder for the game resources. Is this a localized version or the US version?

US Version. Haven't tried to get it to work before in Windows 7, remember that I did in Vista, but don't recall how.

Do a clean install with the installer from here and if you still have the problem, use the diagnostic tool and attach the results here.
