GK1 error using clock

Post by Vandien » Thu Apr 21, 2011 3:28 am

I installed GK1 using the GK1 installer and it was working well, until I tried to use the clock in the attic. When I use it, I get an error and my game crashes. I tried to get around it by downloading saved games, but when I load them the game crashes whenever I use an inventory item.

I've attached an image of the error and a diagnostic log.

Can anyone help me find a solution to this problem?

I didn't notice that you had attached the log in your first post. I've looked it over and and everything looks as it should. Upload your save games and I'll take a look. GKSG.CAT and GKSG.000.

I lost my saves and I only have one where I went straight to the attic. I've uploaded it.

I'll try to take a look sometime soon. I may need to install the Sierra Originals to be able to load them.

Thanks Collector, but I think I will buy the GOG version and see if that works.

A quick look lets me know that I should be able to correct it. If I don't have a new version available in a day or two, give me a reminder.

I have isolated the problem, but I want to test the new build before I upload it.
