playing shadows of darkness (cd) as a paladin,at the point where Igor is missing and i go talk to Gyspy and try to leave and the game quits. is there a patch to prevent this?

So it was a hacked/illegal version?

That pretty much ends all support, if that's the case.

The main problem is not if you have the legal right to have it. Such copies are unpredictable and causes additional support nightmares. Here is a copy on eBay for just $12 with a "Buy it Now".

If you have the CD why would you grab it from a bit torrent?

As Collector said, who knows what modifications are done to the files through bit torrents (or what virus, malware, etc is embedded into the executable) or if there was some kind of edit to the .EXE file that skips the copy protection that further causes issues with the installers Collector makes here.

You're better off installing it from the CD and running Collector's install file from here.
