Getting rid of quite a few games

Post by QuestCollector » Sat Jul 17, 2010 2:34 pm

I have some doubles that I don't have room for anymore and I'm going to get rid of the following. If anyone here is interested let me know. I can send pictures and give you descriptions about everything. After what happened on eBay I just don't care to sell on there anymore plus I know these will end up in good hands if anyone from here got them.

The list:

Helicopter Simulator
Jones in the Fast Lane (3.5)
Heart of China (3.5)
Red Baron
Oil's Well
Police Quest 1 VGA
King's Quest VII w/hint guide
POlice Quest 2 slash
Police Quest 2
Manhunter 2
Inca
Codename Iceman
Outpost
Sierra Award Winners
Goblins 2

King's Quest 3 without disks
Robin Hood without disks

I sold a Leisure Suit Larry a few weeks ago and the buyer had some sort of problem with the box saying there was a crease on it which I never saw. I posted pics of it on the Need a neck to wring topic. I just figured I'd deal with the people here or other collector instead of dealing with eBay anymore. It's a hassle and expensive.

I think I still have a bit of space to squeez some more boxes in, otherwise I'll just move some more of my wife's belongings to the basement .

I would be interested in:
Heart of China (3.5)
Red Baron
Manhunter 2
Inca
Goblins 2

Could you provide some more details on those, QuestCollector?

Here are some pictures of some that you mentioned and their content.

The Heart of China game is in great condition and practically mint. No tears, folds, creases. All looks good. Also complete

The Inca game has all the disks but no manual. Also has assorted papers/brochures. There is writing on the back of the slipcover and the slipcover is worn all around the edges. Nowhere near perfect.

The manhunter 2 only has the 3.5" disks and the manual. The alliance card isn't there and the slipcover is in average condition. There is something stuck to the back of it that I haven't attempted to peel off. Not sure what exactly it is.

Goblins 2 is complete I think. This is the large box version and it contains the 3.5" disks and the manual, along with assorted paperwork. It's in good to very good condition the requirements sticker is solid white.

I have two copies of Red Baron. They are both complete. One looks like a legit release the other seems a little slash like. I the inner box of the legit one is damaged but I can switch it out with the Longbow inner box because I don't have the disks for that game. Switching the box will make it look near the very good condition.

And here is a picture of all the games I'm more than likely going to let go of. I didn't put all of these in my list above. I just started pulling off the shelves. If anyone has any questions don't hesitate to ask. I'll answer as soon as I can.

Is one of the Red Barons VGA? I have the EGA floppy, but would like to add VGA floppy support to the RB installer. What version is the QfG3?

Yes it is the VGA version but it's the 5.25" disks. Would that be a problem?

No, but that would mean that I would still need to add support for the 3.5" VGA floppy. :(

Nice. I'm willing to buy Heart of China, Goblins 2 and the legit release of Red Baron.

If you're going to let go of the others in the picture, which you didn't list in the first post, I would also like to buy Donald Duck's Playground (didn't you just buy that one on eBay?), King's Quest 6, Police Quest 3, Goblins Quest 3 and Outpost (if it's the US release).

That is if there are no other people interested in them of course.

Out of those I would really be interested in Outpost, QfGIII, Robin Hood, and Goblin's Quest 3.

I've already had an offer on Outpost and Goblins Quest 3

The Robin Hood doesn't have the disks, just the contents (game board/manuals)

The Quest for Glory III is complete and in good shape. Send me a PM or post here if your still interested.
