Sorry for leaving this thread on hold. For the past 5 days, I'd been away on a marvellous trip to Hobart (the capital of Tasmania, just to the south of us here in Melbourne) and only just got home last night. I did a major music workshop with David Lawrence, a visiting conductor from England, who took us through Mozart's Requiem and some beautiful motets by Brahms, Rheinberger and Gardiner, which we then performed in Hobart, as part of the annual Festival of Voices.
In addition to the music, I had a great time. This time of year, Hobart is a little chilly but (as always) very beautiful. I took plenty of photos, which I'll develop and put up a little later.
