KQ MaskOfEternity / Win7 fails to start

Hello.
I have tried installing KQ-moe on two different systems now using the installer from this site. Both fail to start (crash & burn). Both are Windows 7 (32bit) fresh installs. One is a real system while the other is a VM (virtualBox). Attached is the diagnostic tool output from the VM system. Is this game supported on the 32bit OS or does the install only work on a 64bit system? Could someone provide some guidance please?

Please post the diagnostic from your real PC. I doubt that it will run in VirtualBox. Also, make sure that it is from a clean install.

Here is the diag output from the real PC.
It shows no CD drive as this is unplugged at the moment.

Only reason I was trying on a VM is because I was successful at doing this w/ VMware server over a year ago on WinXP using out of box CD.
I am also able to get it to start on VirtualBox WinXP system using the installer here, but the display resolution is a problem.
I will be happy to get it working on the real PC under Win7...

To be precise, it does actually launch. I get the splash screen logo, then a window opens (full screen, black), I hear some music, then it dies. Win7 tries to figure out what happened but fails. I also tried various compatibility modes (WinXP SP2, Win98) but to no avail.

VMware was the only virtualizer that I found that would run the game. Though I did not try VirtualBox, I did try several different virtualizers and VMware was the only one that would start the game. It has support for DirectDraw and or D3-D and most virtualizers do not.

The main thing that I notice is your processor. Is this a Netbook? It may be that it doesn't like the Glide wrapper. Try reinstalling without the wrapper.

The box is a small ITX mobo (fanless CPU) that I'm using as a DVR, but I wanted to expand and see if I could get it to support some games.
When you say re-install w/o the Glide wrapper, do you mean just a CD install out of the box? Won't I loose the ability to play w/o having the CD in the drive all the time?

Unselect the Glide wrapper when using my installer. It will then default to DirectDraw. It won't look as good, but it shouldn't take as much to run.
