KQ8 3Dfx Resolution

Post by Gimlao » Thu Nov 10, 2011 6:23 am

In 3Dfx mode, using the 640x480 or 800x600 resolution, the screen still remain in 1024x768, so there are black borders... : "800x600" Screenshot

Is there a solution to stretch it to all the screen (and also keep the aspect ratio, if using a 1360x768 screen) ?

The only way is to use the controls on your monitor or graphics card driver software to stretch it. This would both distort and blur the image.

Nevermind, I just forgot to check "Replace the scaling mode defined by programs and games" in my NVidia settings. ^^;

By the way, I had to use the "Mask.exe" file from GOG, since the one installed by the new installer was just doing nothing but showing the logo of the game...

I have this problem on my copy on a Alienware M11x R3...

Never could get it to stretch, even though I've tried various 'stretch to fit' settings... Not sure if I'm overlooking some other obscure setting somewhere...
