Well, it's a rumor.

EA is planning to expand two of its franchises into a different arena, according to a pair of rumors from Kotaku. The blog has been told by one insider that Dragon Age is getting a multiplayer mode sometime in the future. The insider is unsure if the multiplayer will be a part of a full sequel or a standalone title.
The mode will add arena-style combat, including PVE and PVP elements, and will allow players to control dragons for the first time ever. The project will apparently be powered by DICE’s Frostbite 2 game engine.
The second rumor involves a growing expansion of the Visceral’s Dead Space franchise. A second insider said that EA is still working on Dead Space 3, with a planned return for series protagonist Issac Clarke. The game is apparently taking place on an ice plant called Tau Volantis and could be the final outing for the main character.
More interestingly, EA is also working on a Dead Space first-person shooter, probably a more-robust affair than the on-the-rails Wii shooter, Dead Space: Extraction. The third Dead Space project is apparently a flight game, and after all these projects are finished, Dead Space will also be making an Uncharted-style adventure game. That’s a great deal of expansion for the little franchise that could.
Could EA risk burning out fans with all these additional titles?
