While it's certainly no secret that gaming publisher/developer employees have reviewed their own game and review sites have been bought off, this is disappointing. I'd hoped BioWare wouldn't stoop to this level.

Probably the worst part of this is that the employee reviewed the game without disclosing his employer. In other words, he pretended to be a "normal gamer" and gave DA2 a startling perfect review and score.

EA responded to the situation by saying: "Of course we did it, that's how it works."

So perhaps they planned it. I don't know and neither does anyone else; however, it's obvious EA doesn't care this happened and even approves of it.

As lame as 4chan using fake accounts to destroy DA2 metacritic rank.

Heh. I enjoyed DA, but I won't rush out to buy DA2 until game prices have calmed down a bit (quite a bit). Game prices here are completely out of control. New games can retail for about $120 AUS (roughly $122 USD). You have to wait about a year for prices to come down at all.

As for a BioWare employee giving a perfect score to his own product... that's really low. If he's not in marketing, he should stick to doing what he knows best - engineering, accounts or what-have-you.

And if he IS in marketing, he should stop writing f***ing press releases and call them unbiased user reviews.
