I don't know if they CAN do DRM with Consoles... because you don't actually INSTALL anything when you do console (at least X360). It's all, 100% played off the game CD.

As for getting around the X360 Ban on XLive... there's ways. It's like a whole virus thing. People find a way around the ban. XLive Updates. Gets those who found a way around. Folks find a way around it again, XLive Updates, gets those people again. And the cycle just keeps repeating. The only downside is - they ban your account name. So all your achievements (if you care about that), go away and you're forced to create a new account.

Nah, it's all a matter of preference. Your Gaming Experience on your PC is only as good as your system. For me, I have found all of my gaming needs to be better on the X360, because my Desktop isn't up to par for "Gaming Standards in Today's Market." So - using a recent example - even something like the Dragon Age II demo - I experienced an immediate issue with the sound during cut scenes (which was thankfully, an easy fix) as well as the black face bug (although that was just for portraits, and when I went to the character screen - the rest of the game played fine) because I have a GForce Card that's 7xxx and lower. These were not issues on the X360 when I played the demo. Not only did it work flawlessly, but the graphics were better on my X360 than on my PC (again, because of the video card). On the PC, when I played, I didn't get the traditional blood splatter all over the character's faces and armor (after a battle), where as on the X360 I did. Small detail. But it did make my gaming experience on the X360 more preferable than on the PC.

So I can't see it being a debate of any kind. I think it's all preference. And for PC being superior to console; again, depends on the stats of your current PC system.

Well, you CAN install XBox games on your console if you wish but you still need the disc in the drive. With some PS3 games, however, you HAVE to install them on the hard drive or you can't play the game.

That's just odd. My PC is from 2004 and yet, it can play games Fallout 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins and just about any game I've tried on it.

Anyway... the DA2 demo ran perfectly without any problems. I was, however, a little annoyed to see that the detail settings are stuck at "normal" unless you have DirectX 10 or 11. Since Maia and I have WinXP (like the vast majority of PC users still do), we're using DirectX 9.

Oh well. Even at DX9, the game still looked fantastic. I'd like to see a screen shot of DA2 using DX10/11 compared to DX9.

Once I finally get my Sandy Bridge system in another month or so I'll be able to crank game quality levels! Can't wait. I'll be running Win7 64-bit as well. So DX11 gaming goodness for me! I can't wait to try Skyrim!!
