So today my fiance and I drove around to flea markets and garage sales looking for vintage games.

The very last yard sale we come across, out of the side of my eye I see some vintage games. Lying on the ground is:

Ultima Underworld
The complete ltima VII
Ultima VII: The Black Gate
Ultima VII: LA PORTE NOIRE (French version of the black gate, never been used)
Ultima VIII
Pools of Radiance


I check everything and they are all in excellent condition (for there age) and each box has all of the contents down to the coins, maps, reg cards, etc... The French version even still has the floppy disk's wrapped up and map looks to never been opened.

So I asked the guy how much he wanted and he said $2.00 a game, I offered 10.00 for all and he accepted.... Im pretty excited!!!

Havent decided if I am going to sell them on ebay or keep for my collection. The french version is the real oddball as I have never even see it before, everything on the box and inside is in french.

I would say that's a nice find. Especially at that price. Amazing to me that people don't use ebay... That person could have probably fetched more than 10 bucks if they had used ebay.

He probably didn't know what he had. Perhaps he didn't want to deal with the hassle of selling on eBay.

yeah these people probably dont use ebay.... nor did they know what they had.

That's an awesome find - how can you go wrong with $10.

I actually just picked up a half-dozen games from my father today - he was happy to get them out of his house. All complete and in their original box. All but one were MicroProse (F19 Stealth Fighter, B17 Flying Fortress, Railroad Tycoon, Gunship 2000, Darklands) and A10 Tank Killer (version 1.5).
