Do you like spoilers?

I'm a spoilerophile. I really adore them

Anyway, there is a thread, over at the BioWare Social Site, where people who explored the demo's content with the aid of the developers console have dug out dozens of juicy spoilers. Do you want to read it? Do so at your own risk!

Amongst the other things you'd find in there (I'll be non-spoilery in the descriptions but I put them under Spoiler Tags for those of you who really are allergic to even the mildest of spoilers): who returns from Origins/Awakening and when; who the Big Bad of the game is; who are the (possible) same-sex romances; what many quests entail; which locations we get to explore in the game; what structure the game has (Prologue, Acts, that kind of things); what some of the moral choices are; where the companions are going to live in Kirkwall; what can happen, based on certain decisions, to Hawke's siblings; what flags from the import save are activated and when and some other stuff.

I don't think that there's a reason for her change in appearance. The entire world - darkspawn included - underwent a serious graphic overhaul and I reckon that the new Flemeth appeared more hip and catchy. Anyway, a developer, I think it was David Gaider, pointed out that, being a shapeshifter, Flemeth could also modify her appearance (Morrigan confirms this in Origins) and that she perhaps had reasons to present herself to Alistair and the Warden as an old hag (perhaps not to raise suspicion and convince them to bring Morrigan along) or that she has her reasons to appear to Hawke as a younger, more provocative version of herself.

About Flemeth...

I get having better graphics, you're going to want to enhance everyone's look - but to make it so drastically different? The Darkspawn, that I have seen from the demo didn't look too different - they still looked like a combo between skeleton zombie things. So that didn't appear very different? I understand that they changed the appearance of Sten's people also.

And while Flemeth is clearly a shapeshifter... It seems more logical that she would have taken her older appearance form since she asks Hawke and company to do a mission for her and she could have explained she's still too old to do it herself, and it was beneficial that Hawke and company were going in that direction anyway. I dunno, just accepting everything just because seems too... accepting. I love Bioware, I do. But I just can't swallow everything they toss out as, "OMG, it's awesome! Sure it conflicts with other stuff! But OMG, it's awesome!"

I'm not saying that you should. I don't either. But this is the explanation provided by the developers.

Wait until you see the appearance of one of the returning characters. I was speechless.

Zev looks bad? If you're saying he looks bad... that can't be good.
Leliana - she was so sexy... now, not so much?
Alis - as long as they have the same voice actor - he was so great!
And Nathaniel is from... Awakenings, yes? Meh. Didn't care so much for the Awakening NPCs... perhaps because Awakenings seemed SO much shorter... I don't feel like I got to know them.

Right now we hope that this may be an earlier build. Or maybe the model is good and it's just the screenshot that sucks. At least I hope

Can you customize the appearance of Hawke? Will the main character from the first game have a cameo? I usually try to make my characters look like me, and I guess it would be dumb if I had Hawke looking like me and the guy from the first game looking like me too.
