OK, sure. Thanks, DPX. :)

Since I can't draw, I wouldn't use "Rule 34" (although, of course, I realise what it means). All I'm doing is writing dialogue which I hope is both amusing and true to the characters. :)

If I get a C&D, of course I'll comply by it. But I fully agree with Weird Al's approach:

1, If I want to use something from the internet (e.g. a drawing, a painting, a piece of music etc.) AND
2. I know who created it, AND
3. I can get a permission from the artist ...

Then I write them a polite note to request using it. If they say no, that's fine. If they say yes, even better. ;)

Wasn’t happy with how light it was, so I touched it up, darkened it, brightened up some of the colors, and am much happier now.

Using the light/dark trick is much, much, much more difficult on Marvel black and white images, because the artist tends to overly shade everything – making it a very cluttered picture to try and do the light/dark trick. But I think – while on Wolverine, it was messy – it actually looks nice in the Brood/Sleazoids and the background.

Compared to how it would have looked without the light/dark shading...

Snakes alive, Batman! How will Wolverine get out of that one?!? ;)

He certainly looks to be in danger. What on earth is that snake thing - or the creepy fly-looking thing on the left?

Nice job, Tawm. :)

They're known as The Brood. They're basically Marvel's knock off of Aliens.

This image is from Uncanny X-Men #161 (end) to 168. It's an utterly fantastic story.

Didn’t care for how this one turned out, but whatever. Keep learning. #UncannyXMen #XMen #Wolverine #Rogue #Storm #UncannyXMen158 #UXM158

Another time coloring; did this one in just under two hours. Just trying to get faster and doing things and not over think things. Didn’t turn out too bad, considering the original B&W image I had to work off of.

Very nice indeed. I like them both. :)

I'm just wondering, though -- there was a time when comics cost 60 cents??? Nowadays, they cost $7 apiece ... dratted inflation. :x :P

Comics originally started at like a dime.

Ah - here we go - special thanks to Comichron.
