Sheesh. I guess yesterday was Stupid Day or something...

So last night I was in a store, holding my leather bag and hook-headed umbrella in one hand, with the umbrella horizontal and the hook pointing forwards. I was walking down an aisle that was only wide enough for two people, and another person was walking towards me. So I said "Excuse me" while trying to pass by; after all, I didn't want to hit the guy accidentally.

As I'm passing by, he GRABS the hook and tries to forcibly pull my umbrella out of my hand. Fortunately I was holding it tightly, so he simply hit himself in the stomach with the hook, forcing the breath out of his mouth and causing himself to collapse.

He later called the police in and tried to claim that I assaulted him, but the shop was brightly lit and there were plenty of people around, including shop assistants, who were prepared to swear to the police that I was completely blameless - so the cops arrested the guy instead for wasting their time. *shrug* I, of course, was pretty shocked by the whole thing when it happened, but was able to laugh about it afterwards... what an idiot!

He does seem to attract that crowd. Rath, you have more (for lack of a better word) interesting stories than I could have thought possible to one person to experience!

Hmm. *shrug* To be honest, I wouldn't mind having a more boring life.

I don't know why these nutters think they can pick on me. It's probably rubbish, but maybe it's because I try to keep myself neat and clean, and well-dressed? *shrug* Like I said, it's probably rubbish, but I can't think of any logical reason!
