Re: Your Top Ten Sierra Adventures
which few adventure games have!!?? :o :o  *dunks Rudy's brain in a vat of Clorox and sutures his skull* THERE. That should do it. ^_^ LOL, typical misunderstanding. With "replayability", i'm refering to being able to play the game a thousand times, each time in a different way. This works wi...

Re: Only Three Games
I'm imagining having only 3 games here, so i'm mostly going for replayability. Don't shoot me please
. Aim for Andrea, cause he made us pick only 3
.
1) Evil Genius
2) Gabriel Knight 2 (best adventure game EVER!)
3) F.E.A.R.

Much better. 3 games of any type was indeed a torture to pick. In no particular order: 1) Gabriel Knight 2 (this one deserves the first spot, my absolute favourit adventure game) 2) King's Quest 4 3) Leisure Suit Larry 6 4) Leisure Suit Larry 7 5) Phantasmagoria 6) Lighthouse 7) Torin's Passage 8) G...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
I believe that Goofy's was the title that was in development when Disney and Sierra had their falling out. That's indeed why it never got released, unfortunately. It was supposed to hit the shelves in late 1986 - early 1987, but didn't make it. Picked up another one for only 1.5 Euros :D. Already h...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
Al was involved for sure! He was the main designer for each Disney title under Sierra and, if i'm not mistaking, he was the main guy for Disney software in general, back in the 80ies of course, when their software department was still tiny.

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
So you managed to snag 3-D Helicopter , too. I'm a little surprised that you didn't already have Black Cauldron . Only one other of the Disney's is an AGI. I'm not sure what engine that Goofy's Word Factory was to have been. Nope, Black Cauldron is my first. 1 down, 3 to go. If anybody runs into th...

Re: New member on LarryLaffer.net!!
WOW  . Collector, delete that evil joke of mine from yesterday, QUICK :)! Very nice of Al Lowe to join up and congratulations, Tawmis! Makes me wonder who else are all watching the Sierra Gateway project. When the people from Sierra themselves join up in person, that's IMO the greatest reward...

Re: Al Lowe's favorite?
If you ever sold them (outside of to me) I would break your arm, but I wonder how much you could get for them on eBay? ...and i'll go for the neck. So, considering the options, Tawmis better just keeps them :D. Concerning the price, i'd estimate they'd go for around $100. A few years ago, there was...
