Re: Making Shivers videos

You could also try GameCam . I've used it before and it works. There's a free version, which is the same as the purchasable version, but imprints a water mark on the video. The watermark doesn't intrude on the image, but it's somewhere in one of the corners. Thank you for the suggestion DPX, but it...

Activision-Blizzard takes on adventure games??????

I didn't see it in any major gaming site (Gamespot, IGN,...) yet, but today Activision-Blizzard released "Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst", a game (actually the 5th part of a series) developed by "Big Fish Games", which is supposedly a mystery Adventure in the style of Myst. Here is a link...

Re: Making Shivers videos

Yes, Collector, i would like to record the entire game, not just the movie sequences. I'll have a look at this SNAGIT. Thanks for the advice, guys. Edit: hold on here just a moment. Is SNAGIT also for video capture or only for screenshot capture? It appears it's only used for taking screenshots. Cam...

Making Shivers videos

Hi folks, Yesterday i started creating the pages of Shivers in the Sierra Chest, but i'm having problems making videos. I'm running it in XP and use MultiRes to display it on the entire screen. I use Fraps to create videos but, for some reason, it doesn't work with this game. It doesn't record at al...

Re: My collection

There's an Xbox 360 version of F.E.A.R. ? Yep, the "F.E.A.R. Files". It's a standalone compilation of expansions "Extraction Point" and "Perseus Mandate", released only for the XBOX360. So yeah, they left the best part out, the original F.E.A.R. They may have made the original for the XBOX3...

Re: My collection

Rest assured, just cuz I pointed out that there's modern games in there - I am not dissing that rather massive and insane collection you have. :D I knew you weren't dissing it. I'm really surprised to hear you played F.E.A.R. and other modern titles though. What did you think of F.E.A.R. the first ...

Re: My collection

I have a storage spot in my office. Impressive collection, Rudy. I see you also go for the modern games (FEAR, and its expansions and such). I should do the same and snap a picture of my collection. You have some of the old stuff (before Sierra Online was their name) that I'd like to get my hands o...

Oh... come on, Al. I'm not even halfway yet :D! Don't you want to wait with that for a year or two, so you have a wider range to pick from :P?

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)

Arcade. MOUSKATTACK shows some structural changes relative to PAC-MAN. The player is pursued through a maze by four computer-controlled creatures, but the basic scenario contains a number of embellishments. First, merely passing through every point in the maze is not enough; some points, randomly ch...

Re: What are you playing now?

Currently playing Assault Heroes. I'm stuck in the last chapter. I'm trying to make a decent recording of it, but i'm always losing a life or 2 with the final boss. Tough level to pass in one time, even on easy setting.
