Re: Any Lords of the Realm fans out there?

Played LOTR2 countless times. Still play it on occasion. Don't have LOTR1 yet. LOTR3 was far less appealing to me, but i didn't really give it a full go yet, just played through the tutorial missions. It just wasn't as catchy as LOTR2 as they changed the whole strategy.

Never even heard of the second game in that last picture.
I told the seller to keep it, so the shipping would be less :D

Ever heard of "The Secret of the Castle"? It's one of the edutainment releases halfway the nineties

Re: GK Easter Eggs!

The only one i can think off, is that Gabe's birthday is the same as Jane Jensen's. Aside from that, i haven't noticed any Easter eggs or even references to other Sierra games in any of the GK games..

Re: Official LSL forums gone

The forums have apparently moved back, except for LSL BOB. I just moved the threads, which were moved to the Sierra Classics for member access, to their respective forums again. I also stickied Collector's announcement of the Nontoonyt Times and added the site in the announcement box of the LSL foru...

Re: Official LSL forums gone

It's there, in the announcements box.

Edit: Ok... i made it a "tiny bit" more visible now.
(I'm so gonna hang for this one... Tawmis is gonna love it though. I bet he's gonna take another screenshot  )

Re: LSL7: Love for Sail... where can it be found?

There are several listed on eBay with buy-it-now. I wouldn't go above $40 though.

And yes, i play it without problem on XP.

That's ok. I'm usually not so subtle either ;)

Re: Any Caesar fans out there?

I absolutely loved Caesar 3, still do. I also like Caesar 4, am replaying it now. I also just ordered Caesar 2 from Amazon for $2.95. I have all the other City Builders from Sierra as well.... Zeus is my favorite. Caesar 2 is quite different than the later city builders. In some ways it's much more...

Not gone, just hiding. The admin moved it after we informed him about the Codemasters news. The admin didn't even know.

Re: Making Shivers videos

And the answer is... (drums rolling): Screen Recorder Gold . One of the Youtube members informed me how he recorded it. Works like a charm, except for one small detail: the video lags behind the sound. This becomes very obvious when recording long videos, lagging about 5 seconds in a 10 minute video...

Re: Codemasters Purchase Leisure Suit Larry

And Codemasters took it over in February 2008. The game was first announced in January '08 and by the next month, Activision had jettisoned it. I would like to see a source for that, because i have several hard counter arguments. First off, there were not many articles on BOB, but this article, rel...

Re: Codemasters Purchase Leisure Suit Larry

I would take John Melchior's words with a bag of salt. Team17 is not the Codemasters. While Team17 does reportedly make good games (they're most known for their "Worms" series), i can't think of any adventure game they made, so his definition of an adventure game may be, and probably is, quite diffe...

Re: Codemasters Purchase Leisure Suit Larry

Are you sure about that Tawmis? You do know that Codemasters has a bunch of former Sierra employees and has its US headquarters in the former Sierra building in Oakhurst, right? I expect BOB to be better than MCL, but the Codemasters only got involved in the final stage of development. However, if t...
