Re: Things That Annoy You!
I don't actually mind not dealing with a person, as long as I can accomplish what I need to get done. Normally I'm fairly patient, but I had to call our communications provider once and their touch-tone/voice-recognition (either worked) phone system kept me bouncing around and going in circles for a...

Re: Employers looking at Facebook
OK, that kind of camera is bad. Even if it is a working environment, watching someone that closely is a bit disturbing. They're not going to foster a very positive work environment that way.

Re: Employers looking at Facebook
Not sure if FaceBook would be the first site to point fingers at for possible privacy breech: the security cameras can do a lot of work too, and it's a lot easier to avoid putting sensitive information on FB than it is to avoid the cameras without getting noticed. Re: Show us your desktop!
http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/2193/maigwscreen.th.jpg Maia, is your desktop from a game? Yes, yes it is. It is a Guild Wars screenshot. I liked the lighting in the sky at that moment, but, unfortunately, I didn't realise I managed to snap the end of some kind of structure in it. A horror Alice...

Re: The Longest Journey/Dreamfall
UHS Hints has a pretty good system of hints, if you're stuck. I used them probably more than I should the first time I played TLJ. Unfortunately I don't remember enough details of the game to give you any hints for that area myself.

I'm looking forward to this.
I have no idea what happens if you cross the streams, but I know I'll have to try it now that you've brought it up. I hope it's horrible and funny.

Re: Adventure Games - Myth vs Fact
I agree with much of the general sentiment in this thread. For the most part, games do need to be kept up-to-date in all aspects to be viable in today's market. As much as I have fond memories of older games and will happily replay them from time to time, I don't want a NEW game to have old graphics...

Re: Who Am I?
Alas, no. Even though the criteria does seem to fit, it's not what I had in mind.
