I get chills only by hearing it.
Hey! I looked that up the other day and listened to it after reading this thread. That's hilarious that you posted it. :D

Ah, GK. I miss that series a lot. :(

Re: X-Men: First Class (Movie)

I hate sheep. Baaaad movie producers. I'm not even huge X-Men fan (although I liked the first 2 movies), but I'm ready to cry at all the extra dumb garbage and remakes they're doing lately. A bunch of people liked Twilight because it they were told it was so awesome and totally hyped it up. There ar...

Re: X-Men: First Class (Movie)

The trailer told us pretty much nothing at all about the premise of the movie, other than the people in it are so cool that they get a rocking soundtrack. It's like they're trying to make all the superheroes super trendy. Geez. The "cool kids" got a hold of them. They really are ruined. ;)

Re: Dragon Age II

Although I didn't have a problem with Justice in Awakenings and actually liked him, I don't like the Anders/Justice combination. It doesn't match my Awakenings ending and that ruins the feeling of continuity. Actually, the developers swear that the the game will recognize your Awakening ending and ...

Re: Dragon Age II

Yes, but at least they give you the option of starting a new character. You don't have to pick the dead one, if the continuity of it bothers you. You could have chosen to be the new Grey Warden from Orlais. True, but then I would have been devoid of all the choices I made. That's true. I hadn't act...

Re: The Brainless Box (aka Television Shows)

I think the focus of the two series is reversed, though. I don't think Kenzi is anything like Tara. I don't know if you've watched any further episodes, but she's a lot more favorable about Bo being with Dyson than Tara was about Sookie being with Bill. I also hope that she's also not as depressing...

Re: Dragon Age II

I am going to pass on reading/viewing more spoilers. I am actually still kind of bummed to know the one element mentioned above. :? I know. It was kind of hard to avoid that one if you've been on the Bioware sites at all. I think they didn't really consider it a major spoiler, since it takes place ...

Re: DA:O - opinions.

That was quick, Rath! Then again, maybe I just take a long time at games. I agree about the arch-demon battle. It wasn't as difficult as I was expecting. I tried starting the game again with an elven mage, but overall I find it doesn't feel that different. I basically put it on hold because it was j...

Re: Canadians, Speak Out to Stop Internet Metering!

Yes, they're paying more, but you can't really equate a flat rate with an unlimited amount when talking about proportional pricing. It would make sense for the highest priced package simply to have the highest cap, instead of being "unlimited", which is vague and can lend itself to abuse. Just becau...

Re: Canadians, Speak Out to Stop Internet Metering!

Well, yes, many companies already have reasonable pricing structures set out. We have a mid-range package from our provider and it seems to be fine for our use.

I was thinking more of the supposed complaints about those that have some "unlimited" packages.

Re: Canadians, Speak Out to Stop Internet Metering!

Well this is good news! It hasn't been reversed yet, but at least it sounds like they will have little choice.

Even if they want to impose some restrictions to cover costs, what they propose is way too much. They really need a better thought-out solution.

Re: Canadians, Speak Out to Stop Internet Metering!

One of the things that bothers me about this is that they cite the reason of streaming media as using too much bandwidth. Using the internet for music or movies is far less necessary than other applications that rely exclusively on it. Gaming online has to be done online and you don't have any other...

Re: Canadians, Speak Out to Stop Internet Metering!

What the...?! Freaking, greedy, money-grabbing... We don't stream a lot of video or use services like NetFlix, but I have concerns about how this would affect our Steam usage. We probably won't be buying any large games in the near future on Steam, but it could end up being an issue later on. We usu...

Sheesh... Reading through this post wasn't very encouraging knowing that I'm very close to getting my degree. It seems like luck plays a major part in finding employment after you graduate. Luck to some extent, since it depends on the job market for your chosen field. Although careful planning can ...
