Much respect for getting that far without hints!

Re: What are you playing now?
Congrats! It's always nice to finish a game and have a sense of accomplishment - especially when you enjoyed it! I did take a week-long break halfway through the game to get some work done (and binge the last season of Agents of SHIELD). This is a practice I'll have to do more with open-world games...

Re: What are you playing now?
Following up on New Vegas, I finally finished the game, all its DLC, and tested out three of its endings. Because I could only play it during baby's sleep time, I did cheat a little by ramping up the game speed on the console and activating god mode on the more mundane side-quests (I really didn't w...

Re: LSL - The Sierra Crossover Event!
I kind of want to replace Commander Shepard with Larry in "Mass Effect" and see how that plays out. I imagine every other romance option would start with "I'm Commander Laffer and you're my favourite babe on the Citadel." and end with "Sorry, Commander, but I'm... in the middle of some calibrations."

Re: GK - The Sierra Crossover Event!
I wouldn't mind a one-off episode of Supernatural where Sam and Dean run into Gabriel. They teamed up with Scooby-Doo earlier this season, so it's not beyond impossible.

Re: Lost In Space [Netflix Series]
Watched the first episode and loved it. I'm saving the rest of the season for a flight later this year. The production values and family dynamics are really impressive so far. It's a really good update to the source material.

Re: SDCC 2018 (San Diego Comic Con)
I thought Rebels had a bunch of new characters, with some existing ones thrown in? (I've not watched it obviously)... It centers on a new cast, but since the show-runners previously worked on "Clone Wars", they used the new series to follow up on some of the CW characters, notably Ahsoka, Hondo, an...

Re: SDCC 2018 (San Diego Comic Con)
Well, things like He-Man, She-Ra (which is getting a new cartoon), and all those 80's things are rounding back around (D&D with 5th Edition is probably at it's peak since 2nd Edition). I'm so torn on He-Man and She-Ra. The original stuff was "lightning in a bottle" that just worked for its time, bu...

Re: Designing a Laura Bow Spinoff -
Maybe a pseudo-sequel, FarmVille type game, where Celie and the Colonel set about restoring the plantation to its former glory and must tend the sugar cane. They use all the murder victims as fertilizer...KIDDING! Every time you log in to farm money, you get a random chance of finding a premi...

Re: Designing a Leisure Suit Larry Spinoff -
Eve as an escort actually makes a lot of sense, as to why she would sleep with Larry also. She might have believed he was the actual client that was supposed to meet her up there for the night (rather than bypassing the "security guard"). Another possibility is that Eve has a significant other who'...

My mistake. I didn't know this game was on NES!JasefWisener wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 4:44 pmThe NES port, not the SNES original. It was released on both consoles, and the NES version was a port of the Virgin Games Genesis version. http://www.mobygames.com/game/nes/disneys-aladdin

Re: What are you playing now?
I think the NES version is essentially a port of the Genesis one, so I don't think the sword had anything to do with it. Definitely not a port. The Genesis and SNES versions were developed respectively by Virgin Games and Capcom. Both games feature different levels, maps, gameplay, music and animat...

Re: Designing a King's Quest Spinoff -
I remember Cedric's Quest was already a thing somewhere, so... I'd go with Captain Saladin. Maybe a younger, cockier version of him back when he was a lower rank, and the adventure can take him off the Green Isles. Since it's a spin-off, you can change up the gameplay to be more in line with QFG, so...

Re: Designing a Laura Bow Spinoff -
This could be easy, considering how many people Laura interacted with in both games...! But how many survived? :) On that note... Stevedore Quest! I picture this as a "Forrest Gump"-ish prequel where it explores Steve's past working at the docks and getting entangled with famous historical figures ...
