Re: What are you playing now?

I remember liking PQ2 the most when I was younger. After going through them again, I think I like PQ3 the best just because of the story and how there's actual puzzles in it and not just police procedure. I still like PQ2 for it's driving system, though. "DRIVE TO _____" is a lot less hectic than mi...

Re: Coraline

A friend and I have plans to go see this movie opening night. I think it's awesome that they're trying to bring adventure games back. My brother recently bought the new Sam and Max adventures for Wii, and I've heard there's a few other adventure games already out for it. It's more likely to find a n...

Re: SQ4: Impressions :SQ5

No sign of Mark Crowe? You mean Scott Murphy, right?

What happened between games was that the Two Guys split up, so it was just Mark Crowe helming SQ5. Scott didn't return until after he joined Josh Mandel partway into production on SQ6.

We could get a thread ready for them. It could have decorations and everything.

Re: QfG5

You can also choose not to save either of them. The change is small, but you can still finish the game without their help.

Re: Things That Annoy You!

7. When a fan-fiction author decides to include copious amounts of sexual activity for no reason at all. Most p0rn movies have a better plot. I really don't need to know about a threesome between Spock, Alvin the Chipmunk and Krang (from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Once upon a time, Spock was si...

Re: Cliches in Games

Not to mention these buildings are the most complicated structures in existence. Every hallway eventually leads to where ever you're going in a crazy maze-like fashion. On top of that, before the game started, somebody went out of their way to lock every single fire exit in the building. And it's no...

Cliches in Games

It fits the forum. Why not? :) 1. If you have a rope, a shovel, a crowbar, some matches, a knife, a skeleton key, and a few pieces of paper, you can do anything. 2. Everyone you meet has either one of two goals in life: to kill you, or stand around waiting for you to bring them something. 3. Before ...

Re: Merry Christmas. How'd you celebrate with loved ones?

Let's see... from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day, I saw: The Pirates of Penzance, both High School Musicals, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, and Nightmare Before Christmas (that last one was the only one I got to pick.)

Re: Cliches in Movies and TV Shows

And just once - JUST ONCE... I wish this could happen in a movie.

VILLAIN: "You and I could be powerful together! Let us join forces and we'll rule this world!"
HERO: "Sounds good to me."

10 Character Cliches in Superhero Movies: - If you're the hero, your biological parents are dead. - If you're the hero's girlfriend, you WILL get captured. - If you're a villain, using powers will come naturally to you. - If you're a returning villain, you're probably the good guy this time. - If yo...

Re: Stereotypes in Movies and TV Shows

Computers can hack EVERYTHING. It's not just a simple case of stealing somebody's identity. With a computer, you can turn on someone's webcam and actually control it's aim manually. Or to a more epic extent, you can open all the fuel lines in a station causing all the natural gas to flow back into o...
