Re: Monkey Island Special Edition coming to XBox Live Arcade!
Fine. A North American accent then.
What I mean is not a British accent.

Re: Monkey Island 5: The Series
That wouldn't work. Tell Tale are better for comedic games. Plus it wouldn't be Gabriel Knight without Jane Jensen.

But that's a good thing as it's the original voice cast from Curse of Monkey Island are all reprising their roles (including the much better voice actress of Elaine th...

Re: Fun With a New Printer
A few more I printed off. Including Monkey Island 2, Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis, King's Quest Collection (I designed this one myself), Die Hard Nakatomi Plaza, and Timeshift.

Fun With a New Printer
We just got a new printer/copier/scanner. I started printing off DVD covers for my computer games. I printed a nice custom one off for Monkey Island 1 (I didn't make this one). It was crappy paper but even on crappy paper it looks nice! I'll also be able to use my own King's Quest & Space Quest coll...

Re: New release of DOSBox!
No, you can't turn the logo off. Not unless you alter the source code and compile it yourself. They put it there to "brand" DOSBox and also so people wouldn't confuse it with the command prompt. I'm actually not bothered by it anymore. Just wish it would show in full-screen when you start it in full...

Re: New release of DOSBox!
I like the addition of video and machine modes that DOSBox can now emulate. The logo on startup is pretty annoying, though.

Re: DOSBox Ported to the Wii!
That's no fun!! Besides, you can't use your Wii-mote as a mouse in DOSBox on your laptop
.
Well....unless you have a bluetooth controller and the custom made Wii-mote driver on your laptop.

Re: DOSBox Ported to the Wii!
Download BannerBomb (the new replacement for the Twilight Hack, works on any Wii) and follow the directions on the website to put it on your SD card. Download the HackMii installer and put the boot.dol file from that on the root of your SD card. Use BannerBomb to launch the HackMii installer which c...

Re: DOSBox Ported to the Wii!
You need the Homebrew Channel. You download it on your PC first, copy it to an SD card, and run it through the Homebrew Channel on your Wii. It's not an official Wii download and will never be. Just like ScummVM.

Re: Anyone else following the Scummvm SCI development?
I tried SQ3 and the text boxes and cursours are both transparent. Odd for one of the earlier SCI0 games.

Monkey Island Special Edition coming to XBox Live Arcade!
http://www.gamerbytes.com/2009/05/the_secret_of_monkey_island_co.php If this happens I'm totally getting a 360 next chance I get! Yes, it's been an awfully long time, but it appears that The Secret Of Monkey Island is coming back, and to the Xbox 360. The German USK rating board has revealed that T...

Re: DOSBox Ported to the Wii!
Here's a video I made. First I show off my ScummVM, GeexBox, and Duke Nukem 64 channels then I start DOSBox. I play Conquests of Camelot with Tandy sound, King's Quest V with Adlib sound, and Duke Nukem 1 with PC Speaker sound.

DOSBox Ported to the Wii!
I've been following the development of this for a while but finally there's a working build! It was initially called WiiDOS in conception stages but since the release was changed to DOSBox Wii . I've tried it out and it works rather nicely! It's still a bit limited. You can't go too high on cpu cycl...
