Re: What are you playing now?
CRT TVs hide the pixelation with its bleeding phosphors quite a bit. I was thinking of picking up the PSmini myself at some point. I wonder if it can be hacked like the NES/SNES minis can.

Re: Star Wars / Star Trek Discussion (SciFi In General)
The stinger is Bryan Fuller COULD write Trek. But they removed him from Discovery (his own creation) and stole his idea for Picard. I remember when a lot of people were excited for Discovery as it mirrored a lot of what Phase 2 was supposed to be apparently, right down to the ship design. I wonder w...

Re: Star Wars / Star Trek Discussion (SciFi In General)
Robert Meyer Burnett had some words to say about Star Trek Picard and particularly how it was born. He says it was, once again, Brian Fuller (one of the top producers of Voyager who was involved with a lot of the good story lines) who pitched the idea to CBS years ago when he was still working on Di...

Re: Star Wars / Star Trek Discussion (SciFi In General)
That's Q. From Star Trek TNG. Anyone catch the new Star Trek Picard trailer? Thoughts? It has my attention but it has a lot to prove. I need to see the pilot to see what the tone is like and know what the show is all about (if Trek's soul is intact here) to know if I'm going to support it or not. Lo...

Re: Star Wars / Star Trek Discussion (SciFi In General)
Ooooooo dem's fightin' words! Stirrin the pot. lol
But I was moreso hinting at the fact that Star Wars had a couple other possible running titles before settling on Star Wars and I think Star Trek was Star Trek from the beginning wasn't it?

Re: Star Wars / Star Trek Discussion (SciFi In General)
Lol funny. But also not really fair. Star Wars is its own essence of brilliance. It's one of the best hero's journey stories ever told. Star Trek isn't the hero's journey. It's something else entirely. Apples and oranges. If only Star Wars was called something different without the word "Star" in it...

Re: The same version of SCI Resource Viewer was posted twice
I think it kind of flew under the radar. I only remembered because I tried using it to do just that a few weeks ago and remembered about the bug. It was the only unfortunate part of that version. If that wasn't a problem there'd be no need to have V1.

Re: The same version of SCI Resource Viewer was posted twice
The unversioned one can extract raw resources, but its Sound code is bugged and doesn't play all channels/instruments. It extracts corrupted and exports to MIDI with the same problems. A shame. But that's certainly why both versions are important to have.

Re: Avengers: EndGame [Spoilers]
Lol no, I'm saying Back To The Future revolved around Time Travel as a central plot point. It's what the movie is all about. The Avengers and the MCU is not a Time Travel Franchise. So I don't expect a whole lot of continuity as much as I would from Back to the Future which has loads of continuity. ...

Re: Avengers: EndGame [Spoilers]
I'm speaking more generally, not just about Marvel movies. I would think she would have to go back? Because if she doesn't go back, t hen she doesn't die "for Thanos" to get the Soul Gem . Which I would think, further make a mess of the time line. :) Technically she can't because THAT Thanos was sn...

Re: Star Wars / Star Trek Discussion (SciFi In General)
Here's a nice little timeline video of the series of events surrounding Tardigrades (the adventure game) and Star Trek Discovery and how things evolved from what STD was originally supposed to be, to the original showrunner being fired and replaced and all the game similarities starting to show up, ...

Re: Avengers: EndGame [Spoilers]
IMO they wouldn't need to change anything. It seems to me that that history has shown that audiences are much more accepting if you're respectful and authentic to the source material.
