Re: Sierra Awards
It's up to you if you want to cite the series as a whole or the single game as a particular stand-out.

Sierra Awards
I've tried a similar topic on Adventure Gamers, but it wasn't very successful: so, maybe this time around I'll be more lucky :) The concept is to take categories from Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Academy and so on and adapt them into our genre (and, in this case, our company). Some of th...

Re: Torin's Passage.
I never played it, mainly because I can't find a copy of the game. I've read only the review at Adventure Gamers and it didn't receive a very good score. Can you further your opinion? It's really worth to find out and play?

PQ4 would have been a (pretty bad) pulp novel, with load of splatter, like Palahniuk meets Thomas Harris.JasefWisener wrote: You know, this kind of talk makes me wonder what stories like this would have become had they been written as novels.
PQ3 would have been, at least in my opinion, an Ellroy's novel

Re: How Do YOU Play Quest for Glory?
I always play the Wizard character, starting a new one at each game (but with the same name: Varmas - don't ask me why
), and trying to avoid combat as much as I can.

I understand your point and I totally agree, but the bugs were way too redundant to let me really enjoy the game, even after all these years!

I actually wrote Sierra a letter and said I'd never purchase another Sierra game if they go with icon-driven interface for the rest of their games. I went on to explain that Sierra games are what taught me to type, spell, the whole 9 yards. I never held up my end of the threat of course... You litt...

Spare yourself, Tawmis and Jasef. If the movie was horrible, the novel really is dreadful.
On the subject, there are a couple of very good essays and, of course, "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" is a fantastic reading!
