It would be wonderful to go, but the trip'd be indeed very expensive...

I have played both of them. The first is a very unforgiving game, with lots of dead-ends and timed sequences. The story is linear and straight-forward, but the atmopshere is good. The second one is not as good, in my opinion, but the graphics are really nice.
