Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition (Discussion)

Some fights are meant to be tough. You can always -- and should -- postpone them for later. And while it's true that sidequests are sometimes tedious (ok, often), it's also true that the more important ones and the main quest are far meatier than DA2.

The DAK seems pretty self-explanatory (I've used it already, and the most difficult thing for me was remembering my decisions in DA1 and DA2), but if you're having problems, I'm sure there are some guides out there somewhere.
Same here. I didn't even remember that some choices existed at all. :)

Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition (Discussion)

1. You have to get near to them, or use the Tactical Camera (T) to impart the order. 2. Same as number 1. You have to get near to them. (At least I think this is your problem.) 3. There's an option in one of the... er... Options sub-menus. 4 & 5. Yes, you can only assign abilities. Attributes are ca...

Re: Question - has anyone yet tried Dragon Age: Inquisition?

I'm playing it and liking it. The side quests are a chore, but at least the scenery is often breathtaking, while the main quest seem -- I'm still at the early stages -- challenging and captivating. The supporting characters are, as usual, the real treat, and I'm quite fond of this new group. In gene...

It depends on how much time and patience you can invest in the game.

Re: Question for all you Elder Scrolls experts...

TES1 and TES2 are very unforgiving games, where the player is left complety to his or herself, without any clear direction. They're vast, and usually hard to navigate, since the maps are usually randomly generated. Having said that, Daggerfall has a really good story.

Re: Dragon Age III (Dragon Age Inquisition)

DAI has got me pretty excited. However, I'm trying to be cautious, since -- after the initial excitement -- DA2 proved to be quite the disappointment.

Re: Dragon Age III (Dragon Age Inquisition)

Of course, I don't really "roleplay" either. Never understood it. Well, roleplaying in crpg is often problematic, because - despite the appearances to the contrary - the player has no real freedom, so you have to carefully navigate between what the character you have in mind would do in pen-and-pap...

Re: Sierra Related Kickstarters That Haven't Been Released.

Just about everything. I found the character design lackluster, the writing full of boring exposition, the history-matching segment an exercise in trial and error. In general, it seems to me that Moebius is a game already old -- paradoxically even older than the classics of the genre. In a market th...

Re: Sierra Related Kickstarters That Haven't Been Released.

To be honest, after trying the beta, I'm so disappointed in Moebius that I'm not waiting it anymore. So, I voted the remake, hoping that it can pave the way to a GK4.
