Re: Grim Fandango
I could write an essay about what are the worst songs to get in your head... but there's only one which we banned from our house (and any singing, mentioning of the title, or playing the song is to be punished with a week of washing up) is the Belgian 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. Can't even write t...

Re: Type Or Click?
I'm not a native speaker, and even though my English is pretty good (watched way too much tv as a kid), in typing games I find it terribly hard to think of the right words. But typing, on the other hand, is what made LSL7 so much more fun! I mean, type "fashion" in Other... when talking to Jamie Lee...

Re: Grim Fandango
Just finished it... it's an amazing game! Thank you for posting this thread Rath, it really incited me to take a look at it!
Unfortunately I now have that "let it shine" song in my head (grunt).

Re: Quiz time
How about we use the spoiler tags to write down the ones we figured out?
18: Lost Eden. (If you've never played it; don't worry. You're not missing anything.)

Re: What are you playing now?
I spend my free hours playing Grim Fandango now, I love it!
And I bought this nice little oddity for CD-i: Zelda's Adventure:

Re: When it comes to spelling/grammar, how pedantic are you? ;-)
I'm very pedantic at such things. I even make sure I get my punctuation right, capitalize all sentences and double-check for typos. I wish more people would do that. It's very difficult for me, as a non-native speaker, to read and understand bad grammar. Unless the author is a Dutch speaker (in whic...

Re: Merry Christmas!
This far my favourite is Psycho, partly because I love Anthony Perkins. And I'm now very curious for Rear Window.

Re: Merry Christmas!
So, are you a Hitchcock fan? I am now! For St Nicholas I asked for North By Northwest (too much GK3 I s'pose), and Frenzy and The Birds (I did that Hitchcock jigsaw). My sister found two of those, and they were so expensive it would be cheaper to get the Hitchcock Collection Box. It has 15 films. B...

Re: Merry Christmas!
Thanks Rath! Our car is now back home. The petrol pump broke down, the mechanic said we'd let the petrol level run too low. The car doesn't drive very smoothly now, but at least it's going somewhere!
Christmas was fun, though. We watched much Hitchcock!

Re: Merry Christmas!
Aw Tawm! That sucks! We share your misery: our car decided to stop working on Christmas Eve, and it's still not going anywhere. We don't know what's wrong, but we thought it was a lack of petrol (our car takes both LPG and petrol, it needs regular gasoline to start up, and if you primarily drive on ...

Re: Grim Fandango
Hey thanks! I've had a copy lying around for months but my Win 98 E-drive crashed before I could install it on there, and I'm really not sure about downloading files of which I don't know the authors.

Re: Larry 6: ways to die
Nice! I found two you missed though. And some people say that a certain fence will break when you lean onto it but I've never found that one (and boy I tried!)
I believe I put them all on my site @
