Re: Choose my next adventure

Oh we do/did do cowboys and indians here (unfortunately last year a cowboy/indian celebration was sadly cancelled because of perceived racism in the theme). French comic Lucky Luke's always been big, for instance. I like to read those and enjoyed the cartoon as a kid. Yakari too. It's a bit like Cla...

Re: Choose my next adventure

Nice list, thank you! Interesting you're such a fan of the Conquest games. I only played Camelot of those and never got past the boar. Mind you, Camelot has the best Easter egg. Although my list would look very different on the top end (Shivers being much higher and Freddy being much lower) I can ag...

Re: Cool and Interesting News & Such.

This house has been on sale in Norfolk since April at a selling price of 490,000 pounds. It features a glass balustrade, underfloor heating, newly renovated kitchen, and a graveyard in the front garden. https://www.theguardian.com/money/shortcuts/2019/jan/30/would-you-buy-a-house-with-a-graveyard-in...

Re: My Gold Rush playthrough

I browsed all over the game data a few times to see if I could find the invenory item, but there's no such thing - there's no view for it. So all you have to show for it is basically what you screencapped. There's another text in case you did light a match: "Not bad! Ya haven't used the lantern, but...

Re: My Gold Rush playthrough

Well done on finishing it with full points! I tried but failed in the mines. If you didn't find the bank statement, you can ask Mr Quail for your bank account number. You can close or open the valve, then the handle will break off and the ship will blow up! There's an online video of Gold Rush death...

Re: My Gold Rush playthrough

Cape Horn has a shipload of random deaths - not only that, but there is at least one puzzle that sometimes pops up but usually not. (with an overheated kettle, you have to figure out what is going on and what must be done before it explodes, but in the 50 times I played Cape Horn I only had it once....

The glitch was intentional, it's even mentioned in the hint book! You now have more money than you can count!

Re: My Gold Rush playthrough

You may notice he disappears towards the later sections. If you type "FIND ERIC" then, you get the chilling message "Eric was buried at sea."

All the more replay value! Have you tried to "Hold up bank" or "Kill teller" for instance? :)
