what is your mount point ?
The windows\windows path can be right, but is messy nonetheless.

Re: King's Quest VII 1.4 Version

Not that I know. All file creations go through the same code in DOSBox. So if one works and the other fails, then your OS is doing something special to that location.
Can you show a screenshot of the error of the status window ? It might contain a clue.

Re: King's Quest VII 1.4 Version

if the status window of DOSBox tells you that the filecreation fails, then you are mounting something wrong.

don't do this:

Code: Select all

mount c c:\
or mount the program files directory

Re: Break The Spine.

I am currently reading a frysian book: "(Leafdesferhalen) De riedsels fan it hert", which would be "(liefdesverhalen) De raadsels van het hart" in Dutch, which in turn loosely translates to "(Lovestories) The puzzles of the heart". Every now and then I get this urge to read something in Frysian. Thi...

Re: Question about game sales sites.

I recommend GOG above origin as it is the closest you can get to a retail copy, as there are no online requirements.
GOG claims not to store your credit card info, so you have to reenter it every time.

Re: Question about DOSBox and mounting and installing?

I would do some md5sum checks on the copied files if I were you with collector or somebody else who has the same version as you. (just to be safe)

Re: Question about DOSBox and mounting and installing?

Collector is correct on that the SVN supports diskimage swapping for floppies.
The ctrl-f4 with swapping the files in the mounted folder should work. Although -t floppy does that kind of automaticly. (So you shouldn't need to press ctrl-f4)
