Re: What are you playing now?

Love Riven. It's such a "hyperlinked" puzzle design approach. Everything is connected to everything. And once you get all your pages of notes and bizarre drawings together and examine it it all comes together. Beautiful. Masterpiece.

Re: SierraChest 10 Year Anniversary.

Seriously, I should have been last. Or first. Just get me out of the way and get on with the important people everyone wants to see. lol But I was honoured that Rudy asked me to participate.

Re: Differences between the non-CD versions?

He probably means like Goblins 3 had some different assets and dialogue. The NA floppy version had a completely different title screen (checkerboard background similar to the box cover with a brawler goblin from level 2) and dialogue than the European version which had a bunch of credits and an imag...

Re: What are you playing now?

Recently had a chance to play Subnautica. It's like No Man's Sky except underwater on an all-ocean alien planet and way more interesting. My dad played through it and loved it. He didn't want to play in survival mode though (having to eat/drink to survive). I'm tackling it. Amazing visuals. Truly im...

Re: Sony Vegas, DOSBox, Windows Media Player and VLC.

I still use DAUM because I like the CRT Bright pixel shader. That really takes me back.

Re: Sony Vegas, DOSBox, Windows Media Player and VLC.

The sync issue is because the ZMBV codec uses variable framerate. A lot of video editors don't like variable framerate. You'd have to convert the video to a calibrated framerate format. You can do this with Handbrake fairly easily and encode it with x264. I went through the same thing when I was doi...

Of course, Christian Bale isn't the best Batman ever. That honour is forever reserved for Michael Keaton.
Or Kevin Conroy, but to each medium their own. ;)
Touché. :)

Re: What are you playing now?

You seriously have not seen Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, or The Dark Knight Rises? Really? You poor, poor soul. Hold on, now. I didn't get the chance to read Marvel comics when I was a kid, you know. ;) I saw a Batman movie from time to time, but never got into the whole Batman thing. Not everyo...
