Re: The Bard's Tale IV

Their "patch" is redownloading the entire 27GB game, all over again, with the updated files.

They don't have a an actual "patch" for Patch 3.

This is ridiculous.

Even more so if there's still issues.

Re: The Bard's Tale IV

We will see if this does anything - they JUST released a patch: Hello everyone! Today, we are pleased to get you the latest patch for The Bard´s Tale IV: Barrows Deep. Patch 3 introduces additional enhancements to graphic settings, character art, localization, as well as further addressing remaining...

Re: What are you playing now?

Yeah, so - that didn't last long - this was the same review I put on GoG.

Re: The Bard's Tale IV

So.... Yeah. GRAPHICS: And by that - as others mentioned, load times. And lag. So when the game first installed, it installed with HIGH settings for _everything_. When I turned it would take anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds to see the movement. So I went into the settings changed it to MEDIUM for almo...

Re: My Phantasmagoria 2 playthrough

So far I've just started Chapter 3. So far I think it's pretty good. The story so far seems to have some potential. I wonder where it goes "off the rails" as other people seem to think. I do think that maybe they revealed too much too early on. They explain "Threshold" in an email in Chapter 2. I t...

Re: What are you playing now?

the_bards_tale_IV.png Started playing The Bards Tale IV, which was a kickstarter. I loved The Bard's Tale I, II and III. I wish I could say favorable things about Bards Tale IV. First, it required putting the game graphics to the lowest setting possible. So everything looks pretty bland. Attempting...

SierraChest 10 Year Anniversary.

Greetings! Today the Sierra Chest celebrates its 10th anniversary and for this occasion I created a little show with lots and lots of guests from Sierra and Dynamix, as well as Sierra fans and creators of other fan sites. A big thank you for the guests on the show! I won't tag them yet, cause that ...

Re: Choose my next adventure

So I have 4 votes for Phantasmagoria 2 and 1 for Willy Beamish. 'Tis the season, so this will be fun. So I will now venture forth into the horrors of... '90s FMV! Remember, when you're angry that you played this horrible game, I didn't cast this vote! :D (It's not even that horrible - just has noth...

Re: Coloring Ka-Zar #29.

Nice work! I should look this into this series, never invested much in Belasco's story. I dont think that it is Sauron in that image btw - he is depowered and living as a human between Marvel Fanfare 2-4 early 80s and X-Force early 90s. it is just one of the Pterons depicted there - some sort of ha...

Re: King's Quest VII (GoG) + DOSBox Recording.

If I get chance I'll look into it. If Qbix sees this before I can, he may be of some help. Cool, it's not a very big deal - because, like I said, it's recording the voices - just not the background music. :) So I can drop the KQVII background music myself, if I can find the music for it (which I pr...

Re: There and back again; a Neverending Tale. Neverending Nights

"What <kind> of confession?" Andrea's PO'd already. Oh boy. This is going to be fun. :D Daniel, shaper of balloons... I love the silly names. Alan the Outstanding. Alan the Astounding was the (drunk) wizard we saw in Episode 06. I am sure I've said this before, but Daniel the Destructiv...
