• SHP New King's Quest Collection Series Installer   Setup File [5.04 MB]

Installs disc 1 and 2. Installs the entire King's Quest 5, King's Quest 6 and King's Quest 7 games to the hard drive for CD-less play. The Windows version of King's Quest VI will not run on 64 bit Windows. 64 bit Windows users will have to play the DOSBox version. VDMSound is needed to play the Windows version on Windows XP 32 bit. The installer can download and install VDMSound for you. The installer will auto detect Vista, which does not need VDMSound, and will install the game normally. Also, the installer corrects an error in the configuration of Mixed-Up Mother Goose Deluxe that causes the game to crash on start on Window XP. Note that Mixed-Up Mother Goose Deluxe is a Windows only game and will not run on 64 bit Windows. Also can install all of the extras included with the 2nd collection, such as the Apple][ games. NOTE: The AppleWin emulator can take a very long time to initialize the first time. Please be patient.
