Audio Problems

Audio problems are common in the later Sierra games. There's no single fix for all these games.

Problem - Sound Randomly Skips:
The music plays and randomly skips around for no reason.

Solution:
Experiment with the audio hardware acceleration slider:

Go to the Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> "Audio" tab -> Sound playback Advanced button-> "Performance" tab

This has worked for other users.
