Pharaoh Cheats

These were taken from the old Official Pharaoh site, www.pharaoh1.com:

Some cheats can only be used in certain situations, as noted. It is highly recommend that you save your game before using any cheat codes. There is a chance that something unintended might happen when using a cheat.

Editing Pharaoh_Model_Normal.txt

Right click on the Pharaoh_Model_Normal.txt file and choose properties. Uncheck the 'read-only' box, then click OK. Now, open the file using Windows notepad, read the instructions and edit anything you like. Save the file, and be sure to mark it as 'read-only' again before playing the game.

The Cheat Dialog Box

To bring up the cheat dialog box, press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+C. Then, type in one of cheat of the cheats below exactly. These cheats are case sensitive:

Big Dave
Destroys some industrial buildings by Ptah. Ptah must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Bird of Prey
Makes the city's trade partners trade less for a year. Ra must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Bounty
The next inundation (flood) will be better than expected. Osiris must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

Cat Fight
Bast will level some of the city's best houses. Bast must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

Cat Nip
Houses and bazaars will be filled with goods and food. Bast must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

Fury of Seth
Makes Seth angry where he will destroy all military ships (including your own) .

Grenow
Destroys one of your city's storage yards by Ptah. Ptah must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Hippo Stomp
Sends a herd of angry hippos through your city.

Kitty Litter
Makes a plague strike the city. Bast must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Life From Death
Doubles the harvest of farms on flood plain after the next flood. Osiris must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Meow
Makes Bast throw a festival for all the gods. Bast must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

Mesektet
Lowers your Kingdom Rating. Ra must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

mockattack1
Makes the enemy army attack your city by land.

mockattack2
Makes the enemy army attack your city by sea.

Mummys Curse
Makes the next inundation worse than expected. Osiris must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Noble Djed
Fully stocks shipwrights, weavers, and jewelers with raw materials. Ptah must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Pharaohs Glory
Increases the city's exports by 50% for a year. Ra must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

Pharaohs Tomb
Skips level (automatically wins scenario)

Seth Strikes
Destroys the city's best company and their fort. Seth must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Side Show
Creates more hippos. Hippos must already be present on map for this cheat to work.

Spirit of Typhon
Strikes down some of the next invaders by Seth. Seth must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

Sun Disk
Raises your Kingdom Rating. Ra must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

Supreme Craftsman
Fills a storage yard with excess capacity with gems, clay, pottery, flax, linen or jewelry. Ptah must be worshipped in the city for this cheat to work.

Treasure Chest
Adds 1000 deben to the city's treasury (must be under 15, 000 db)

Typhonian Relief
Protects soldiers sent to distant lands. Seth must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.

Underworld
Destroys farms on the flood plain by next flood. Osiris must be worshiped in the city for this cheat to work.
